Where we are: open beta
Musterport is early, and it's free for everyone while we're in beta. We're building it hand-in-hand with the emergency management and volunteer agencies who use it, adding features in the order that helps real teams the most. If you try it and something's missing or awkward, tell us — that's exactly how the roadmap gets set.
Why we built Musterport
Emergency management runs on volunteers. Storm spotters, amateur radio operators, search teams, and CERT members give their time and training to keep communities safe. But the tools for tracking those people — their capabilities, their certifications, their availability — too often amount to a binder, a whiteboard, or a spreadsheet that's out of date the moment it's saved.
When an activation happens, that gap costs time. Coordinators scramble to figure out who's qualified, whose CPR card lapsed last month, and who can actually be reached. Musterport closes that gap: one clear picture of your roster's readiness, updated as certifications are added and renewed, so activation is a decision — not a scramble.
We also made a deliberate choice about ownership. A volunteer's certifications belong to them, not to any one agency. In Musterport, each person builds their credentials once and shares them with the agencies they serve — so a volunteer who gives their time to three organizations doesn't fill out the same forms three times.
How Musterport works

Create a free account and build your profile once — certifications and their expiration dates, skills, and radio capabilities. Join your agencies with an invite or a join link, and your record travels with you. Leave an agency and its access ends. It's yours, and it's free forever.
For coordinators
Set up your organization, invite volunteers or share a join link, and define what you require as an ordered training pathway. Musterport matches each member's credentials against it and shows you a live readiness matrix — current, expiring, or not yet ready — at a glance.
